Community Pickup
Authorized adults, and a Hold that blocks release.
Community Pickup keeps the adults a program has allowed for a child. At pickup, staff match the person at the door to that list and complete the handoff from the location’s queue. An active Hold blocks release. The Hold is not cleared by the arrival itself.
The check at the door
The adult who arrives has to be one the program already allows for that child. Staff are the people who confirm it, because they are the ones handing the child over. A daycare, a church program, and an after-school program use the same check. Daycare is described on daycare pickup. The other two settings are on church and after-school pickup.
The list is the program’s record of authorized adults. This page does not publish a child, a family, or a custody order. Custody and Hold rules are not changed here.
What the organization form is
Create an organization opens the existing form on the Community Pickup home page. It creates the organization and a location for staff. It is not a parent signup and it does not turn billing on. Billing is not live.
